Employee Spotlight: Matt Muller!

This month we are happy to introduce you all to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Matthew Muller! Matt is a founder of IA, and was able to make Jon Hagmaier’s vision a reality by creating the user-friendly product you all have grown to know and love! His passion for technology and innate computer knowledge is highly valued by all at IA. We are all grateful for Matt and his abilities! Without him, IA would not be the product that it is today. We would also like to congratulate Matt on his recent engagement. We wish you both a beautiful life together!

Briefly Describe the what you do at your position with IA: “I type, I think, code, and answer questions.”

On a scale of 1-10, how messy is your desk? “7″

What is your favorite part about working at IA? “The people. I enjoy working with everyone here. I believe that what we do can make a difference and we have fun doing it.”

What is your favorite snack at the office? Starbursts

Where is your favorite place to go out to lunch? Wasabi

What is your proudest accomplishment while working at IA? “Rebuilding the first working copy of iTest in a weekend.  20 hours straight coding on Saturday and 16 hours of coding and testing on Sunday. Students were testing the following Monday.

Thoughts on education? “We are just scratching the surface on the impact that we can have in revolutionizing education.”

What do you do outside of IA? “play saxophone, have fun”

How would your co-workers describe you? “Good looking, charming, intelligent, and modest”
